Promotional Literature

FISHING HERITAGE CENTRE

We developed a clean and flexible look
to a series of promotional literature for
the Fishing Heritage Centre, ranging
from leaflets, advertising campaigns
and exhibition designs.

Through the use of clean typography
we gave the Fishing Heritage Centre
a more contemporary look to their
ageing identity, bringing the centre
bang up-to-date and ultimately repositioning the Centre not just as
a specialist Maritime Museum, but
as more diverse and vibrant family
attraction, highlighting the gallery
space, with the ever changing
exhibitions and events for the
whole family to enjoy.

We approached each annual event
leaflet, as a unique and individual
piece, with a mix of formats and
print finishes, bringing diversity and interest whislt always retaining the
new core typographic treatment to
bring consistency throughout all
the promotional material.

IDOLS - TOY EXHIBITION
FISHING HERITAGE CENTRE

The Idols toy exhibition was by its
nature a fun and playfull exhibition requiring a fun and playful solution.

The exhibition features toys from
both the children of now and the
children of the past, highlighting the similarities and diversites for the past
and current generations.

We decided that interaction was the key,
toys are to be played with, and we were
certainly not going to get in the way of
that, so we implemented a simple colour coded system to represent each decade,
these colours formed the basis of the
simple yet bold graphical timeline
featured throughout the exhibition panels.

The exhibition was designed with
accessibility in mind, using low low level
plynths of varying heigths and colours,
mirroring the colour coded system,
making it easy to see the coresponding
decade the toys on show belong to.

WAKE UP TO CLEETHORPES

North East Lincolnshire Council's
2007 Tourism Marketing Campaign
was launched with a 64 page Holiday Brochureand supporting billboards,
taxis and press advertising, targeting
the Yorkshire area.

The concept of ' Wake Up To Cleethorpes'
was designed to encompass two
meanings, one to encourage visitors to
stay over within the resort making use
of the accommodation on offer and the
other to get people to look at Cleethorpes in a different light opening their eyes to
the new developments and general feel
of the area.

The brief was approached with a series
of studio photo-shoots, featuring a bed
as a pivotal element with the concept
of highlighting all of the activities that
could be undertaken within Cleethorpes
in 48hrs.

Marketing statistics now show that
the Wake Up To Cleethorpes campaign
made a significant impact, increasing
visitor figures to Cleethorpes throughout
2007, waking people up to what
Cleethorpes has to offer.
